The Startupper of the year Challenge by TotalEnergies is back for its 3 edition in 32 African countries! Its goal is to support young African entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35.

In each country, 3 prizes will be awarded to:

  • The best business creation project
  • The best startup under 3 years old
  • The best female entrepreneur

All business creation's project holders and young innovative startups with a positive impact on their communities and the planet can participate.

Following the nomination of the three winners in each country by the local juries, an international jury will meet to select the three "Big Winners" from across the continent. The prize for the winners is a financial support, but also the opportunity to benefit from personalized coaching from TotalEnergies and media visibility thanks to the scope of this challenge.

The “best female entrepreneur” award is a novelty of this third edition, with the stated goal of particularly encouraging female entrepreneurship. Moreover, this year, the challenge will highlight sustainable development, in line with the Company's ambition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
